Bangladesh Government has made provision of registration of Special Marriages which came into force on April-2012. Bangladeshi and Foreigner can register their marriage in accordance with The Special Marriage Act, 1872.
For Foreigner the copy of Marriage Certificate has to be collected from the office of Marriage Registrar and then has to be submitted in Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a prior attestation from Notary Public and Law Ministry.
