Md. Asraful Islam FCS obtained his LL.B. (Hon’s) degree from Islamic University, Kushtia in 2006 and LL.M degree from the same institution in 2008. He also achieved FCS in 2014 with Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh as Associate Chartered Secretary.
He qualified as an Advocate of the District and Sessions Court in Dhaka in 2009 and later qualified as an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh on 2013. He joined City Lex Chambers in 2015 and has been one the leading figure for the litigation team of the firm ever since. He has later become a partner of the firm.
